2024 Women’s Hand Carving Retreat June 7-9, 2024 Old Alcohol Inn in Port Hadlock, WA
The Northwest Stone Sculpture Association’s Annual Women’s Hand Carving event is returning for its 6th year to the Old Alcohol Plant in Port Hadlock, in their gardens overlooking Port Townsend Bay. We will carve Friday, Saturday & Sunday in a warm, encouraging and inclusive environment.
On Saturday, June 8th from 10 am to 4 pm, the public is invited to watch and talk to any of the 20 artists who will be working outdoors using hand tools to carve stone. There will be completed sculptures by the women on display in the indoor gallery.
Registration Fee: $135 Member Rate ($175 Non-Member Rate)
Our fees are used to underwrite our insurance for the event, to pay the very helpful hotel staff who fully assist us in set-up and tear down. It also helps us cover the use of the Old Alcohol Plant Inn space and facilities and the common rooms that we use.
