Art Around the Clock – Rotating Outdoor Sculpture Gallery Redmond, OR

The Redmond Commission for Art in Public Places (RCAPP) invites artists or artist teams to submit proposals for participation in the eighth round of the City of Redmond’s rotating outdoor sculpture gallery program, known as Art Around the Clock. This program introduces original art into the heart of Redmond, creating a unique sense of place and enhancing community identity. Selected sculptures will be installed outdoors on concrete and metal pedestals for a two-year exhibition period, during which, the pieces are prominently displayed throughout town and marketed as available for purchase. Selected applicants receive a stipend of $1,000 per piece ($750 at installation, $250 at removal). At the end of the exhibition period, each piece is eligible for participation in the People’s Choice contest in which the community of Redmond votes to decide their favorite piece. RCAPP will offer $10,000 in exchange for the piece with the most votes.
