Display Opportunity at Marymoor Park

Display Opportunity for NWSSA Sculptors

The NWSSA has an agreement with King County Parks to place large scale stone sculpture in Marymoor Park. The park is located between Redmond and Bellevue. We placed two sculptures before COVID and have five more plinths available for installation. The sculptures will stay in place for 2-3 years before being rotated. The agreement with Parks runs for five more years and may be renewed if things go well. We have received a grant to offset the hard costs of installation (plinth installation and welding).

We have room for five additional sculptures and plan to install these sculptures this year and in 2025. There is no honorarium for installation, but the pieces can be for sale. NWSSA expects to receive a 30% donation to help fund future program expenses once the grant funding is exhausted.

We would like interested artists to contact Sue Taves (taves@mac.com) or Ken Barnes (barnestrav@yahoo.com).
